On the production side, requirements for how organizations label the different functions of an item (such as the shapes and size of a part or the end item) on the assembly line can make it much easier for companies to utilize algorithms from one factory to another, without having to undergo costly retraining efforts.
Patent protections. Traditionally, in China, new innovations are quickly folded into the general public domain, making it difficult for enterprise-software and AI players to recognize a return on their sizable investment. In our experience, patent laws that protect copyright can increase investors' self-confidence and attract more investment in this location.
AI has the possible to improve key sectors in China. However, amongst company domains in these sectors with the most valuable use cases, there is no low-hanging fruit where AI can be implemented with little additional investment. Rather, our research finds that opening maximum capacity of this chance will be possible only with strategic financial investments and innovations across a number of dimensions-with data, talent, innovation, and market collaboration being primary. Working together, enterprises, AI players, and federal government can resolve these conditions and allow China to record the amount at stake.
