Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A guy was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines through the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: "It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be harmful.
"These types of items being sold, typically online, have undergone no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their safety.
"You simply do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the result drugs like this might have on your health."
